Rajy S. Abulhosn, M.D., Medical Director

Rajy S. Abulhosn, M.D., leads the capable LEI Medical Group team. He has practiced family and occupational medicine in San Diego since 1995.

Dr. Abulhosn performs medical surveillance and other physical exams for a diverse range of clients including educational, engineering and health care organizations, law enforcement agencies, manufacturers, oil and gas producers, and temporary staffing firms. He also provides business and leisure travel-related counseling, vaccinations and medications.

Dr. Abulhosn is available to advise companies on regulatory compliance issues and exposure hazards, serve as a consulting medical director and provide oversight for onsite clinical staff. He also supports WorkCare’s telephonic work-related injury triage service, Incident Intervention.

Dr. Abulhosn is a former physician partner in the Occupational Medicine Department at Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group in San Diego, where he was Medical Director of the Executive Health and Employee Wellness Program. His experience includes service as a district office medical consultant for the California State Compensation Insurance Fund and staff physician in family medicine at Mid-City Community Clinic in San Diego.

Dr. Abulhosn earned his Medical Doctorate at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Wash., his home town. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in media and journalism. Dr. Abulhosn completed a family practice residency program at Sharp Grossmont Hospital. He is board-certified in family medicine, a certified member of the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners and a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine.

His personal interests include spending time with his family, travel, physical fitness/exercise and soccer, current events, media and journalism, and he is an avid University of Washington sports fan.

Don Lindo, P.A.-C

Don is a Certified Physician Assistant who provides exams and other clinical services. He has more than 36 years of experience as a physician assistant, primarily in acute care, occupational medicine, workers’ compensation and travel medicine. He was educated by the U.S. Navy through the George Washington University, D.C., Physician Assistant Program. He went on to serve 10 years as a Physician Assistant in the Navy. He is board-certified, licensed to practice in California and a member of the California Academy of PAs™.

Maria Zimmerman, M.A., X.R.T.

Maria is a Medical Assistant and X-ray Technician. She uses her versatile skills to support occupational exams and travel medicine services. Maria has worked in the medical field for more than 10 years. “I love what I do, and I’m glad to be a part of this clinic where the focus is truly on the patients and their care.”
